"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I am writing you this letter with the believe you will treat my message
with utmost honesty and sincerity of purpose which is my main reason for
confiding in you even though I do not really know you before this moment.

My name is Rania Hassan,I was married to the late Ahmed Hassan, who died in
Abidjan on 26th of December 2010 during the civil war, as a result the
shock of that painful incident, my cancer sickness got worst and I have
been suffering from cancer, hearing problem and hypertension. At present,
my only means of communicating with people is with the help of my doctor.

My Husband and I have a joint account in a bank, of which I am a signatory
to and the only beneficiary of the money since after his death.

As soon as I receive your reply in absolute truth to accept my request, not
because of the money which I offer but for the Love of the good work you
are doing , I will authorize my bank to transfer the money to you. This
will be made with the assistance of my Late husbands attorney.


All I need is your assurance that this donation will be use for the purpose
for the poor orphanage and also charity organization . I am writing you
this mail with great tears in my eyes and I pray you will be honest towards
this mail I write to you today.
