"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Attention Sir;
 
It is our pleasure to get in contact with you through this E-mail medium once again, our phone effort to you was not successful. My name is Rt. General Isaac Promise Manuco. I am the Angolan & United Nation Security Chief in Africa. This is to notify you that we have recovered some consignment boxes through our intelligent monitoring unit according to our Chief intelligent officer, and your detail is tagged in one of these boxes recovered which we assumed was suppose to be delivered to your address in South Africa, but believed later was diverted through Accra heading towards Asia. We are contacting the beneficiaries simultaneously for claims and perfect deliveries. The Documents are complicated but revealed it was either your Contract payment/lottery/Inheritance or Next of Kin payments which has been diverted and made it difficult for you to receive your fund after your much expenses to receive the fund proved unsuccessful.
 
Therefore, we request you to get back to this email for verification and clearance of the delivery of your recovered  box. Due to many complains of misplacement and interceptions of people's belongings around the world through consignment boxes, who actually have consignment boxes to claim, after concluding in a meeting with members of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and all the presidents in Africa concerning this urgent situations, we came to a conclusion that all recovered consignments must be investigated properly before clearance and onward delivery to the righful beneficiaries. You are advise to keep this development confidential to avoid double claim as we are ready to serve you better and shall make sure that you receive your consignment box after all the investigations and proves declaring you the beneficiary of your consignment box is correct.
 
We advice you to get back to this email for more information and claims. Note that we have already packaged all consignment boxes accordingly and will assigned our delivery agent to fly down to your country to deliver your consignment box to you in person based on your instruction, once again congratulation.
