"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Greetings to you in the name of our lord Jesus Christ,

Greetings to you in the name of our lord Jesus Christ,

I am Mrs. Angelika Herrmann, a widow suffering from long time illness (Cancer), I have some funds I inherited from my late loving husband Dr. Herrmann Manfred, the sum of (USD$4.900.000, 00) which he deposited in bank here and I need a very honest Christian brother or sister that
will use this funds for the works of God, and 15% will be for your compensation for doing this work of God.

I took this decision because I dont have any child that will inherit this fund, again I and my late husband vowed to use our last wealth to help the less privileged since we have no child, I am not afraid of death hence I know where I am going. Please if you would be able to use this fund for helping the Less Privileges and support in the Christian Charity Organizations; kindly contact me back for more details.

God bless your family,

Mrs. Angelika Herrmann
