"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: !!!JUNE 2015 PROPOSITION!!!

Sir,

How are you and your family? I write to propose a partnership with you on
a Non -upfront payment (ZERO INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP PROJECT) on Natural
and Mineral resources
I am a geologist and expert on Natural and mineral resources Department
with Ecowas states of Government on project assignment.

We register and issued license to all foreign investors/Importer from USA,
Europe, Asia and many parts of the world on Natural and Mineral Resources
for the Importation With ethic and code of conduct Bureau on my
appointment for this assignment with Ecowas states of Government I must
not involve in any exportation from the region. But the law permits me to
sponsor a foreign investor on different names and company.

There is a company in United Kingdom who is really interested in Natural
and Mineral resources products from this region and they are not register
with Ecowas Government as a buyer (importer) because of the high price
and taxes that Government will impose on them. They prefer to buy the
product directly from the private sellers instead of Government. I will;
register you as a supplier (Exporter) to allow these products to enter
United Kingdom from the region.

What I want from you is acceptance of the offer for sponsorship and
willingness to work with me and I shall apply for Prospector’s License
from the government, I shall register a company in your name so that the
license can be given to you in your name.

My position in the office does not warrant me to apply as am still
working with the government but as a foreigner, they will accept your
application.
I will pay all the required fees and other expenses for the issuance of
the License on your name and within one week this license will be issued
to you. Immediately the license is issue we would contact the company to
send them product and pay us under 24 hours of the delivery of the
products
I want to assure you that I will give you the company name, the products
name and the products order details the price including the profit, its
50% profit I want to guarantee you that I will sponsor everything to the
last point of delivery to the Importer in United Kingdom.

The only assignment from you is that you will act as the Exporter to
Ecowas Government and also received the payment from the Importer. I would
like to be part of this project. This transaction does not require much
from you, what I want from you is honesty and cooperation as my partner.
Once you agree to partner with me we are going to set an agreement (MOU)
which is going to include profit sharing formula and I will also meet you
physically in your country.

I will be looking forward to read from you if you are ready for the
sponsorship, send me your contact so we can talk on phone and discuss on
the way forward.

Regards,

Adams George
