"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

my name is ms grace rosefield. i am british medical director attachee to the
former president of ukraine. during one of his oil businesses with the
west, which i helped him then to coordinate, i made the sum of
US$10,500,000.00 (10.5million u.s.dollars) and moved it through the back door
to a bank here in europe.

i am contacting you now to claim the money on my behalf because i am sick.
after you have claimed the money on my behalf, you will take 40% for yourself
and keep the remaining 60% for me. you will then send a small amount to me
so I can use it to take care of my sickness after which you will help me to
invest the remaining amount. but you have to keep this business secret and
confidential. if you are interested, please reply this mail urgently by sending
me your name, contact address and telephone number.
