"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello,
I am the chief security to Mr. Paul François Compaoré a brother to Blaise Compaoré, the former president of Burkina Faso.
The government of Burkina Faso collapsed on Thursday 30th Oct 2014 as demonstrators protesting President Blaise Compaoré's plans to stay in office after 27 years surged through the streets of Ouagadougou, the capital, overrunning state broadcasters, setting fire to the Parliament building and burning the homes of the president’s relatives.
And that day, I made away as the chief security from Mr Paul François Compaoré’s house opposite university of Ouagadougou Zogona to Ghana with a trunk box filled with USD, a letter was inside the box which indicate the value of the money as $35 million Dollars.
This money was giving to Mr. Paul François Compaoré from Blaise Compaoré, the former president of Burkina Faso for purchasing of Artilleries, Gold & Diamond.
When I moved out with the money from Burkina Faso to Ghana, I deposited the trunk box in one of the Security Company in Ghana West Africa, with the trust i have in God, i decided to contact you to help me retrieve this money from the Security Company, because, I demolished all my documents & am not using phone at the present to avoid stressing after the population burned my building as the president’s relatives.
So, if you can be of a great help to me, i will be please to offer you 50% percent of the total money after the money has been retrieved from the security company in Ghana to you in your country and you will arrange for my coming to meet you in your country for investment purpose.
I will be waiting to hear from you so that i will give you more detail.
Thanks and God bless you.
Ali Compaoré
