"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: CRUDE OIL REFINERY.

Dear Friend,

My name is Mr. Caleb Petersyde,an Oil and Gas Engineer and presently, I signed a new contract deal with British Petroleum (BP), an energy Company. This new contract Agreement has caged me in custody of BP and I do not have the legal right to execute other contracts outside the shelf of BP, and with my experience as an Engineer who have practiced for years.

I have an offshore and chemical supply contract worth of $600Million(Six Hundred Million United States Dollars only) from a Petroleum Company, a mouth watering contract with nice retirement pay, which I am looking for someone that I can make papers in his name so we can partner and execute the said contract together. I seek your partnership because of my previous betrayals from friend and relations.

If I can confide in you, kindly get back to me for more details of the due process and next step.

Anticipating your communication via (cpetersyde1@hotmail.com)

Yours Sincerely,
Mr.Caleb Petersyde
