"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Help me please

Hello Dear,

I appeal to you to exercise a little patience and read through my letter please. l am Miss. Evelyn Loba, the daughter of late Chief and Mrs. George Loba, My father was poisoned by his associates in Abidjan here, economic capital of Ivory Coast west Africa, and before the death of my father in a private hospital here, he secretly called me at his bedside, when I sat down to listen to him, he started crying, are you crying dad? He complained that I am too young to be managing my life with no one to take care of me, he revealed to me that he has a very huge sum of ($9,500.000 US) left in a bank, that he used my name as the only daughter for his next of kin in deposit of this funds. he advised me that in case something happened to him, that l should seek for a foreign partner in a country of my choice where l will transfer the money and use it for proper investment purpose, and that I have to leave this country, if not they will kill me.

So, after the burial of my late father, my uncle conspired with the rest of the family members and sold my father's properties and shared the money among themselves and left nothing for me, because my beloved mother does not have any Son to my father and they are trying to kill me. My dear, I contact you to help me to transfer my inheritance money in your bank account and make arrangement for me to come over to your country in order to further my university education. l am willing to offer you 20% of the total money if help me come over to your country.

Hoping to hear from you soon.
Miss. Evlyne Loba
