"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Attention: Beneficiary,
Dear: Sir,
PRESIDENTIAL FUND PAYMENT VERIFICATION.

I have been directed by the new elected President Muhammadu Buhari, to
contact you/your company for your long overdue fund payment which has been
here unclaimed due to frustrations you have gone through in the hands of
the pasted government officials and their agents. But Mr. President made
it clear that billions of dollars can be recovered, and we will do our
best to pay our foreign contractors,” said Muhammadu Buhari in a statement
signed by his special adviser on media and publicity, Mr Femi Adesina.

Also the president has decided to take care of all the foreign payment to
avoid somebody like you sending money to on non person/ agencies or
ministries again. However, kindly note that you will receive your fund
through our Crude Oil Reserve account with (First National Bank South
Africa) and you must physically be in present there in the bank to claim
your fund.

Note that you will not require being there with any money for whatever as
the President will delegate two officials that will be there to assist
you. We urge you to indicate your willingness immediately.
Signed By General Muhammadu Buhari, (GFCR) The new President, Federal
Republic of Nigeria, I wish you the best.

Best Regards
Mr. Femi Adesina
Special Adviser to the President,
