"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Project Investment !!!

Hello,

My company just rounded up a contract in Dubai, UAE and I am about to be paid a second and full installment of $30,000,000 (Thirty Million Dollars). I am in search of a foreign company or a reliable individual in the United States to assist me in moving these funds for Investment in the USA. We can either set up a percentage based Joint Venture, or you get a commission for your services. I am ready to offer you 15% of the aforementioned sum.

I am resorting to this option as opposed to transferring the funds myself because the IRS will charge me very high fees and I would have to pay a very high-rate Income Tax as a foreigner  thus  I have decided to waive it by getting a third-party to assist me in this, with advice from my attorney.

Recently, I have also been working on a charity project of mine (Care for Africa Project). It is aimed to help the existing combat of the dreaded Ebola and HIV/Aids disease in Africa and also, fight poverty. I hope you can also support this project by donating some money to the NGO after you have received your 20%

Upon your response, I will furnish you with more information of the transfer and with the aid of my lawyer we will proceed with the legal processes and presentation of necessary documents to the offices that demand these documents before approval of the transfer to you .

Please reply me to confirm your interest in partnering with me on this project and I would provide my direct contact phone number for easier communication.

Yours Sincerely,
Peter Green.
