"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Re:Business Proposal

Goodday,

I send you greetings and I sincerely hope this correspondence finds you in good health.

Pardon my intrusion into your privacy in this manner but after a detailed research over the internet, I found your contact email address listed on an Internet Business Directory and it is my wish to seek your consent and indulgence in an investment project of opening a cosmetic factory that produces Perfumes/Deodorants, Body Lotions/Creams, Soaps etc

The purpose of this correspondence is to introduce myself to you. I am Anthony Iheme, - an Entrepreneur and CEO of MOMEN NIG LTD.
This is a start-up company and business consulting firm, offering business ideas and services locally and internationally.

MOMEN NIG LTD is not a very big company but we have recently been confronted with the task of investing funds exceeding our capacity and have decided to seek partners to cooperate with us in investing the available funds.

We are by this letter considering entering into a partnership with you to invest in this venture and appoint you as partner and co-managers of this investment, which will be in the long run a most profitable partnership, since the gateway and hub is open for foreign investors into the great economy of Nigeria under a new leadership which guarantees safe return on investments.

I will need you to make your own personal research on the new Nigeria and economic policies.

Since we cannot determine if this email is still functional and also your willingness to cooperate with us, we have kept this proposal brief.

If you are interested in this offer of partnership, please respond to enable us give further information about the proposed partnership. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Your expedient response will be appreciated as we look forward to hearing from you soon. Please send all email correspondence to the email below.

Thanks
Anthony Iheme
