"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mohammadu Buhari GCFR),
Managing Director/ CEO Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Mr.
Augustine Oniwon and the release of funds by the Governor, Central Bank of
Nigeria, We wish to inform you that approval has been given and funds
released for the payment of your entire outstanding contract sum of
$25,000,000.00.
I wish to further inform you that all matters relating to verification,
information and documentation including payment for contracts executed are
now under my control and supervision. This development is necessitated by
the due process policy of the present administration to ensure
accountability and transparency in the disbursement and payment to foreign
contractors.


A Telex Signal has been sent to the office of the Chairman Contract award
Division NNPC to effect your payment and eleven other contractors within;
the next seventy two (72) hours. You are advised immediately to contact
Dr.Fred Mock, on Email: fredmock@outlook.com for the immediate transfer on
your long overdue contract payment.


This office will ensure that adequate attention and priority is given to
your contract file. Finally you are advised to adhere to the instruction of
the Chairman Contract award Division NIGERIA NATIONAL PETROLEUM COOPERATION
(NNPC) to enable his office release your contract sum to you within the
stipulated time. Beneficiaries, who fail to comply with the above, should
not be considered for payment.
