"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: With Good Faith

Greetings and how are you doing? This mail may come to you as a surprise but be rest assured that this is not a hoax mail. With Due Respect and Humanity, I was compelled to write to you under a humanitarian ground, Greetings in the Name of our God. My name is Mrs. Donna Broomfield. My son Keith Broomfield died on June 3rd 2015 while fighting in defense of those being persecuted for their Christian faith in Syria which i believe you may have heard of his death on the broadcast, my son Keith Broomfield died at the age of 36yrs. His heart was for the protection of the innocence of Kurdish women and children. He was born on August 3, 1978 in Framingham, MA. My health is not so strong since after the death of my son and my soul is still in bitterness over the loss of my son Keith Broomfield and he used to be my favorite and he was my most cherished but I have to be strong as I believe it was the will of God that things happened this way. Keith my son worked
at our family business, Broomfield Labs Inc U.S, as a Plant Manager and also he engaged himself in some other businesses in France together with his friends over there, My late son was a highly reputable American military soldier, Out of the wish of my late son before he went for the war he told me that he deposited a large sum of money at his bank in France for business purposes and investments also for vacations which he used me as his next of kin. Before my son decided to go with the Kurdish forces and fight against the Islamic State group in Syria he called me out secretly and instructed me out of trust and made me promise him that should it be that he don’t survive on the mission that I should look for a trust worthy person who can help me accomplish his wish on earth in humanitarian charity service with the money by distributing it to Church, mosque, schools and orphanage because it has been part of his agendas so that his soul can rest in
peace. I am willing to donate the US$4.7 Million U.S Dollars to you for the charity service and well obligations. Do not worry about how i got your email address because i selected it from the internet after my prayers. Please I want you to note that my late son deposited this money in a Bank in France which i am now the beneficiary as his next of kin and upon my instruction the fund will be transferred to you without any further delay. I honestly pray that you should use this money for the said purpose when you receive it. Through my son I have come to find out that wealth acquisition without GOD is vanity upon vanity. so Immediately you approve to me of your willingness, I will inform the bank about you as the person whom i have chosen to transfer the money to as my benefactor and family friend. I do not know what you may take this email as or how you may think of it but am promising you and giving away this money to you for the sake of my late son
and his desires so my dear take your time and investigate be it on the internet google or anywhere and also think well over it before you get back to me with your decision and your details, such as your full names, resident address and telephone number if you can be trusted.. Thank you and May God bless you for your time.
