"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Friend,

I am aware that this is certainly an unconventional approach to
starting a relationship. I sincerely ask for forgiveness for I know
this may seem like a complete intrusion to your privacy but right now
this is my only option of communication. I am Mrs Pratibha Kumar, a
branch Manager of Investment Banking, Reserve Bank Of India.

On August 23, 2012, , our client Mr. Robert Gray, who has lived here in
India was working for construction company PW Nigeria., he made a numbered
fixed deposit for 6 (six) calendar months, with a value of $ 2 million US
dollars only in my branch. He was shot by hired assassin in Nigeria after he did
finished his road construction job there. kindly view this link to read
about the news.

The Bank officially sent two-man delegate to his residence address registerred with us
were he resides, only to find out that the address do not exist.

After further investigations, it was also discovered that Mr. Robert
Gray did not declare any next of kin in his official papers, including
the paper work of his bank deposit. And he also confided in me the
last time he visited our Bank that no one except me knew of his
deposit in my bank. So, Two million, United State Dollars is still
lying in my bank and no one will ever come forward to claim it.

According to the laws of my country, at the expiration of two year (2
year) the funds will revert to the ownership of Irish Government if
nobody applies to claim the funds. I will like you as a foreigner to
stand as the next of kin to Mr. Robert Gray to enable you receive the
funds. Let us put heads together to see how we can transfer these
funds out of Nigeria and use it judiciously.

I have contacted an Attorney that will prepare the necessary document
that will back you up as the next of kin to Mr. Robert Gray, all that
is require from you at this stage is to open a dollar account with our
Bank, then have the money sent to your Indian Bank Account, after
then, you can have the total fund transferred to your Bank account in
your country. We are going to adopt a legalized method and the
Attorney will prepare all the necessary documents.

Here is my other Email address( pratibha.kumar012@gmail.com ),Once you
agree to work with me and i get a return mail from you,
I will give you the Bank website and also provide you with Robert Gray
online internet Banking details so you can go online and view his
account balance, and be able to confirm what i have explained so far.
i hope to read from you.

Best Regards
Pratibha Kumar
