"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I am looking for a prospective business partner in your country, with good
investment project plan. I was wondering if you could be my Investment
Manager.

My name is Mr. Paul Barnett, I am working with Dana Petroleum, as Senior
Executive Team, that provides for the acquisition of Bow Valley.

This has made me relatively very busy as I am supervising the oil field
contract previously under Bow Valley, I am supervising some of the oil
exploration contracts at the North Sea. In the event of this, I got
involved in a crude oil supply deal which promised a huge returns, and you
are invited to partnership with us in an investment of mutual interest
worth of 35Million Euros.

We need to know if you will be able to handle a business transaction
involving this amount of money after, which we will go into details to
explain the simple detail of realizing this objective without delays.
