"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: CALVARY GREETINGS TO YOU.

Greetings to you my Beloved.

I am Mrs. Agnes J. Samuel from London UK, 69 years old widow to late
Engineer James H. Samuel, I'm a new Christian Convert after the death
of my husband and my only son in Iraqi war years back. After the death
of my husband and son, my husband relatives became angry and wanted to
kill me because of my husband wealth and also, they discover that I
had Leukemia (Blood Cancer) as a result of constant chemical from
everyday bombing, then I flee to London where I am presently
undergoing treatment.

When I discover that I have Blood related diseases (Blood Cancer), I
decide to undergo a research for a trustworthy person to hand-over
this fund (US$5,5M) to assist me fund Charitable/Establish an
Orphanage homes for the needy etc. that I came across your contact
through Business directory I prayed about it before reaching you.
Already, the doctor that leads me to Christ told me that, I have a few
months to live and knowing my condition, I know that wealth without
Christ is vanity. I want to donate a total sum of US$5.5M to your
care for Evangelism, Aids for the less privileged and Charity in your
country or anywhere in the world. Having known my condition I decided
to donate these funds to a Church or better still a God FEARING
INDIVIDUAL that will utilize this money accordingly. Lastly, I want
you to keep praying for me as regarding my health because I have come
to find out since my spiritual birth recently that wealth acquisition
without Jesus Christ in one's life is vanity upon vanity. If you must
die says the Lord, keep fit and I will give you the crown of life.

Psalms 119:116 Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live, and
let me not be ashamed of my hope.
Psalms 138: 7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou will revive me......
Psalms 41: 1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor, the Lord will
deliver him in time of trouble.

Two of my favorite verses: Philippians 2:27: For indeed he was sick
almost unto death, but God had mercy on him, and not only on him but
on me also, lest i should have sorrow upon sorrow. I always say this
in my mind, please the contents of this proposal is real & genuine
kindly ignore and delete this correspondence if you will not fulfill
this obligation when you have the money at your disposal. I am looking
forward to hearing from you upon your considerations.

Yours in Christ,
Mrs. Agnes J. Samuel.
Philanthropist.
