"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: US$5.5Million Part Payment Instruction ...... No Upfront Fee

For Your Kind Attention
We received a notice from our correspondence Bank to transfer the sum of USD$5,500,000.00 (Five Million Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars Only) to your designated bank account as part payment of your Contract/Inheritance Funds.

The instruction was given in order to stop interference from impostors or fraudsters in African region and Europe in diaspora.

Based on this innovation, we do not encourage upfront payments so that you can differentiate between REAL and FAKE officers. Anyone who asks for upfront payment is likely one of the rippers.

We have devised means by which fees are settled without expenses from the beneficiary of the fund in question. In other words , you do not have to incur a dime from your income or pocket before you receive your Contract/Inheritance Funds.

Therefore, you are required to reconfirm your details as follows:

Full names:
Physical address (Not P.O.Box):
Home Phone #:
Cell phone #:
Bank Name:
Bank address:
Account name:
Account # :
Routing #:
Type of Account (Saving or Checking):
Contract/Inheritance Amount:

We look forward to hearing from you asap.
