"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I’m sorry to trespass into your privacy in this manner. I am the son of
late Henry Ugwu, opposition MDC party member and a tobacco
dealer who was murdered by the Zimbabwean war veterans and furious
supporters of President Robert Mugabe’s action to distribute white farm
lands to the black farmers.

Because of farmland crisis in Zimbabwe the government secretly sponsored
the war veterans and some furious party members to dispose the land being
occupied by the white farmers. This action has led to the killings of lots
opposition party members including my late father who did not supporting
this disastrous action. But before the death of my late father, he
foreseen some dangers and smuggled out US$59 Million to South Africa and
lodged with a private Security Company as family valuables and with
intention of using it to purchase a new farmland and farming equipment to
establish wine industry in Cape Town South Africa before his death.

Right now my family is seeking a political refugee in South Africa and
cannot move this money out of South Africa by our self. I contacted you to
solicit for your special assistance to my family shattered by oppressive
government led by dictator and his (ZANU-PF) ruling party, President
Robert Mugabe, For your assistance to facilitate the transfer of the money
out of South Africa to your country for investment you will be entitled of
30% commission from the total money, 70% will be for the capital
investment, after which, I and my family will travel to your country to
settle down and start a new life.
