"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Please Hear my cry

Hospital Quiron Barcelona
Pl. del Conde de Suchil, 16, Barcelona
08023
Spain
Beloved,
I am in hospital writing this letter to you with heavy tears in my eyes and great sorrow in my heart because my doctor told me that I will die in three months time according to a medical report that diagnosed me of cancer. I cried endlessly but I have come to terms that swallowing in self pity will not be helpful so I have finally accepted my fate to move on with my life, till I meet the inevitable calling from God.
Base on this shocking development, I decided to “WILL” a reasonable amount of money which I have with a Financial Intuition here in Spain to a God fearing person who will use the money to build a charity organization for the saint and less privileged in my name. I saw some calmness in you and my instinct urged me to contact you.

If you are willing to take up this challenge, and fulfill my last wishes, I shall compensate you with thirty percent of the fund for your sincerity and dedication to give a life to the less privileged, and then the remaining seventy percent will go to charity. The exact amount is Nine Million United State of American Dollars. I grew up as an Orphan and I know how it looks like to grow up and realize that you are left alone in this world and don’t have anybody/family member to take care of you. My late husband’s relatives are maltreating me because I am an orphan, and I prefer to “WILL” this money for charity work, than allowing them to take over this money for their own personal interest.I will provide you with other information once you indicate your willingness to help. I hope to hear from you soon.

God Bless You
