"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR TRANSFER TODAY


I must say congratulations in advance.On looking at the impending
transfers i found out your name and email address is among those to be
paid this week.You have been contacted but no response from you for
weeks which led me to write you today because by the end of this week
your fund will be confiscated and turned to Government account which
means you have lost your long awaited fund.Now we are the Governing
Body of all leading banks in the United Kingdom which we have found
out that your transfer have not been done as different banks hold your
fund.

In this regard i decided to contact you before it's too late.Now
you need reconfirm your readiness to claim your fund.Your principal
amount will be transferred/delivered to you including the money you
have sent to people that lied to you.

Now I want you to proceed now and open the attached Nat-west pay slip
named (solaar) then click on RUN to view your banking details and the
amount to be transferred to your bank account.Attached is your
Transfer slip.
