"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello,

I am Bob Glaser and I work with Bryan Davies & Associates Real Estate,
United Kingdom. We have a deceased client who died and left an
unclaimed amount, he bears identical last names with you. Since his
death I have received several letters from the bank (in Canada) where
he deposited the fund requesting me to provide his next of kin or any
of his relatives who can lay claims to the funds before the end of the
year or the Bank will be left with no option than to confiscate the
account and turn the money back to the state treasury as unclaimed
deposit.

I have conducted my personal search to see if I can make contact with
any of his relatives but without success, it is in the course of my
effort that I have to contact you. Contact me through my private email
account (bob_glaser@outlook.com) for a more comprehensive discussion
on this matter.

Sincerely,

Bob Glaser
