"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I'm a United States of America soldier serving in Syria presently, We discovered in a tunnel an abandoned
sum of Twelve Million US Dollars ($12,000,000.00). which I got The money was in
cash, all is 100 Dollar bills. It was kept secretly in a box right there in the tunnel, believed to be
owned by the fled terrorists, whom we launched massive attack against.

The reason why i contacting you now is for a mutual and confidential business. It's very urgent
because I have been shortlisted among the soldiers that will be withdrawn soon from Syria
as proposed by our Government, I'm afraid that our security intelligence may discover the money
when we are being redeployed back to fight terrorists, like Syria isis, Nigeria boko haram For this reason I want to move
the money quickly to you for safekeeping, pending completion of my assignment here. I will give
you 25% of the money, while you keep 75% for me until we both meet in person. If you are
interested, please reply for discussion and negotiation.
