"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: I have a proposal to discuss with you

Hello my friend,

I am Frederick Annan, my profession and skill is on computer programming and Actuary (specialist in digits to
statistically predict deals and business decisions). This is what I do as the Regional branch manager of my
bank. I am also a contractor agent to my country's' Inter-bank Payment and Settlement Systems (IPSS), a s
ubsidiary of the Central/Apex Bank of my country with the mandate of monitoring bank to bank transfers
(internationally or within the country). This is the internet transfer network platform and with my position as
the Regional branch manager of my Bank, working with this setup gives/avails me the opportunity or access
to huge data of clients in all banks here in my country. As such I have some very secured legal deals at my
disposal but each time I painfully loose them because I need partners to help me pull them off.

Presently, there is a hot, urgent and secured deal I have packaged. Should you be interested please reach
me on my private email address (annanf31@yahoo.com) after, I shall provide you with more details.
Your earliest response with your telephone number to this
will be very much appreciated.

Yours Sincerely,
Frederick Annan
