"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

My name is Wanchai Roujanavong (Esq.) a personal attorney to my late client a foreigner, a deceased client of mine, that died as a result of a plan crash happened Wednesday being 16th, October 2013. He's a Businessman on Gold dealer here in Thailand who died along with his entire family. And in the record there is known successor to this deposit of the deceased who died without a will. The Laos plane crash flight No.301 that happened Wednesday being 16th, October 2013 in Laos city.

The bank has issued me a notice to provide the next-of-kin or have the account confiscated as Unclaimed Dividends. Since I have been unsuccessful in locating the biological relatives of my late client who died without a will, I hereby seek your consent to present you to the bank as next-of-kin of the deceased since you are a foreigner. My late Client has a deposit of One Million Four hundred and Fifty Thousand United States Dollars (US$1.450,000) left behind with Bank in Thailand.
