"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear valuable customer,

Ref: Information as regards to your ATM Card Fund Transfer

Welcome to UBA the United Bank For Africa.

UBA is Africa's global bank, a large bank with many branches across the globe including Europe and the United States.

Please listen very attentively, I know some bad people are existing in this country Benin and believe me that we are doing everything possible to eradicate them with the help of UN (United Nations) Ecowas (Economic Community of West African States) and AU (African Union) because they are really giving our good country a bank name and image to foreigners like yourself for example, but don’t use because of your experience dealing with the wrong people to condemn people like use that is in sure and legal/legitimate and better position to deliver.

The fund is a compensation that was approved by Benin Government in conjunction with help of UN (United Nations) Ecowas, and AU (African Union) to compensate scam victims in the quest to clear our country name and to prove of innocence from being a scam country.

The scam victims that their email address was selected are 20 people from all over the world and your email address happened to be among and the amount that was approved for the 20 scam victims that was selected is $500,000.00 United States Dollars each and you are one of them so you should be delighted by counting yourself lucky.

We chose to pay you via VISA ATM Cash Card because is secured and gives receiver absolute privacy and confidence. The use of ATM Card has become a very good alternative in the transfer of funds all over the world and your total fund due in your favor will be programmed into a VISA ATM Cash Card and you will deserve the right to either come here to sign for release of the card or it will be insured and dispatched for delivery to your address. After you receive it, you will deserve the right to walk to any functioning Automated Teller Machine (ATM Machine) close to you and start making withdrawals of your funds, or you take the ATM Card to your banker and the fund in it will be diverted into your bank account.

One thing you must understand is that transfer of funds from West African States to Asia, Europe and America is very difficult because of so many restrictions on international transfers, but I want to assure you that payment via ATM Card is easy, risk free and free of encumbrances which you will notice shortly as we proceed.

It is my duty to ensure you receive your fund without encumbrances so I urge you follow my instructions accordingly to enable us serve you better with my good office.

It will take 24/48 hours to officially program and issue your ATM Card.

You should get back to us urgently with your full name that will be on the front page of your ATM CARD.

Feel free to call us any time on this number should you have further questions +229 67250645.
