"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: LETTER OF INTENT..

Dear Friend,

It's with deep regret that i choose to seek your help on a platform that has observed the highest level of security considerations in recent times. I'm an Ethic Conflict Analyst and a Civil mediator. I'm on the verge of concluding the compensation bid in favour of (4) tribes in Ogoni land over the recent Oil Spillage as a result of the exploration activities by (3) oil corporations in the Sub Saharan region.

As a freelance mediator, i was able to pave a way for a feasible Financial boom in the history of my practice. A counter offer was made which gave me the opportunity to annex a Fish Rearing company in my report as one of the activities disrupted by the oil spill in Ogoni Land. Although, no affected Fish company was recorded from Inception; I indirectly institute this claim using a Fish company and as a sole petitioner, the propose 'Compensation' will be received by me.

In less than (14) working days, the sum of US$20M will be approved if helped by a foreign counterpart who shall confirm the verification of eligibility for a Compensation on behalf of the suppose Fish Company. I seek your consent to decorate you as the Pisciculturist whose fishing lake was reportedly disrupted by oil pollution. I am willing to offer you a good sharing ratio; please provide your phone number if you're interested.

Thanks in anticipation.

Regards,
Turku Mobolaji- Johnson.
