"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

My name is Mr. Ken Kosah working in Africa development bank Ghana (ADB), am writing you this mail if you can help me to find a buyer of au gold dust and bar. One of our client that has the same surname like yours and he is from Asia and he came to Ghana last year for buying of gold dust and gold bar and he always deposits the gold to our bank, but he died in a hospital here in Ghana and till now we have not find any relative of him so that we can contact him/her for the gold. The reason am contacting you is if you can get a buyer that will go to Vietnam and pick up the gold there or can as well send it to your own recommended destination and I will arrange on how to ship it in your name, we found out in his document that he always ship the gold to Vietnam and from Vietnam to Hong Kong or China in one of the refinery there. Please try all you can to help, once I hear from you I will send you all the details concerning the au gold.
