"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Good Day,


I hope my email meet you well. My name is Dr. Gius Obaseki, Former Group Managing Director Nigeria National Petroleum Co-operation (NNPC). During my tenure as the Group Managing Director, the Nigeria National Petroleum Co-operation. I have an unpaid contract fund which should be paid to late Eng. WEI PIN, he has an unpaid $28.8 million, and there were no beneficiary on his beneficiary FORM. I deposited the fund in a bank in United Kingdom.

I received a report from my account officer that the bank has plan to confiscate every unpaid funds which has no beneficiary and which has exceeded the time limit.

He died in a plane, on the Saturday, 4 May, 2002, his wife and their only daughter were involved in a Local Plane Crash at Kano State, enroot to Abuja (The Capital City) all occupants in the Plane lost their lives, unfortunately on this same flight were other dignitaries like the Sports Minister and a host of others.
