"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: I look forward for your response.

Hello Dear,
I am Dr. Dida Sam Amoah, a United Nation Humanitarian Officer in Ghana.
I wish to bring to your notice a long over due deposit that was made to Security
Vault Firm in Ghana by USA serving Major General Harold Greene in Afghanistan.
General Harold entrusted the two boxes to me during my service in Afghanistan
on a UN Peace Keeping Mission. He requested me to safe keep the trunk boxes
in any vault firm in my country Ghana that as soon as he retire's as a General,
he will join me in Ghana to take possession of the boxes and go in for real estate
investment in Ghana since Ghana is a peaceful and tourist country.

In a nutshell, Major General Harold Greene died from gunshot wounds in the noontime
attack at the Marshal Fahim National Defense University at Camp Qargha, Kabul,
Afghanistan, he was killed by an Afghan soldier on August 5th, 2014.

I need someone that I can introduce to the Security Vault firm in Ghana as General
Harold's close associates or relative for the release of this two boxes to you on a
mutual arrangement. I will like to inform you that no risk is attach and we will share
the content of the boxes 50/50 sharing ratio upon conclusion. Note that your claim
will be done in a legal atmosphere with absolute confidentiality from both side.
Indicate your interest by sending your full name, address and direct
telephone via email as I will get back to you with the detail of this claim.

Thank you as I look forward for your prompt response.

Yours Faithfully,

Dr. Dida Sam Amoah.
