"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Beloved One,

I am Rolland Adel 23 years old. I am a student. I have been mandated by a French Nationality, a Gold and Diamond merchant who has been my benefactor by sponsoring academic programs for few years now to look for a foreigner that will receive his money for the purpose given in this mail.

As a result of the Gold and Diamond merchant deteriorating health consequent to (Prostate Cancer) he has authorized me to help him look for a mature person to seek his or her indulgence in assisting him to distribute his life benefit to Charity homes, Orphanage Foundations and society of Widows globally the sum in deposit is about Seven Million, Six Hundred Thousand US Dollars, ($7.6 Million USD), since he does not have a wife neither does he have children and so life is not guaranteed with the achievement he had made so far as he is critically lying ill now at the hospital.

The Gold and Diamond merchant has presented me to the bank official in charge of his deposited money and the bank official is now waiting on me to introduce to him the recipient of the said amount in their bank custody. I will officially introduce you to the bank management upon your reply indicating your willingness to handle this divine assignment to it fullness.

Yours Sincerely,
