"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear
My name is Mrs. Gina Coulibally, from Ivory coast. I am a widow
being that I lost my husband as a result of prolonged cancer sickness.
But before my husband's death, he had a fix deposit account in a bank
here valued at, ($1,800,000) One Million Eight Hundred US Dollars. Just
recently, I was diagnosed to have Cancer as well and since then, I had
been managing my life, but right now, my life is in danger.
The
tradition and culture of this place does not allow women to inherit any
property from the home. If I eventually die, the tradition will deny my
only daughter this only money we have for her if I eventually pass on
without any arrangement for her.
“My reason for writing to you is
that I wish you to do me a favor, I want to present your name to the
bank as my late husband business partner who has share in the deposited
fund so to receive this fund in a safe account in your country as the
beneficiary on our behalf pending when my daughter, Miss Faith who will
be coming there for her safety, education and future livelihood”.
I
wish to sincerely stress here that if you accept this offer, you will
see the whole money as yours and treat my daughter, FAITH like your own
daughter. Or if you prefer, we are willing to offer you 30% of the
entire fund as compensation for assisting us.
Please if you are willing to assist us reply me as soon as possible.

Please,
if you have any question regarding this, please do not hesitate to
ask. There is no risk whatsoever in this, I want to reiterate here, the
money is legally acquired by my late husband.
I await your response.
God Bless.

Mrs. Gina.
