"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

This is to intimate you that approvals have been given for the immediate remittance of your online lottery winnings from the Swedish National Lottery of which draws were completed early this year. The online lotto was made through a random shuffle of online users as at a particular time. Certainly you may not have entered for this lottery but your email won the lottery for you.
 
A totally sum of Two million five hundred thousand Euros have been allocated to you as your winning and have been duly approved for immediate payment to your designated bank account via telegraphic transfer (T/T) by the Swedish National Lottery accredited bankers (Swedbank AB Sweden). You are therefore required to contact this office immediately for further directives of payment.
 
Please note that your disregard to this message would only express refusal to claim lottery winnings hence, we shall cancel your payment and allocate it to charity.
