"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam
The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.
Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.
Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Some comments by the Scam-O-Matic about the following email:
- An email address listed inside this email has been used in a known fraud before.
- This email uses a separate reply address that is different from the sender address. Spammers use this to get replies even when the original spam sending accounts have been shut down. - "keep it confidential" (scammers urge victims to keep the transaction secret because they don't want anyone to point out to them that it is a scam)

- "is 100% risk free" (almost true for the criminal trying to scam you - arrests of online criminals are rare)
- "the diplomat " ("diplomats" who perform deliveries of cash or other valuables to you only exist in 419 scams)

- "courier company" (Courier companies mentioned in 419 scams are always fake. They will have you send money to them, but won't deliver anything. )
- This email message is a 419 scam. Please see our 419 FAQ for more details on such scams.
- This email lists free webmail addresses. Use of such addresses is typical for scams. Lotteries, banks and any but the smallest of companies do not normally use such addresses. Criminals use them to anonymously send and receive email at Internet cafes.

Hello,
My Name is Dr J. Wagner a US Customs officer in charge of inspections Unit

I know you will be surprised receiving this message from me
hence we do not know each other before , but nevertheless feel free
read the message very carefully and understand the reasons why I
contacted you.
The subject of the matter is that Last year December 16 TH 2015,I was
on night duty in the Airport around 11.30 pm after the arrival of
Delta Airline, on the course of checking the passengers a Diplomat
Agent was having two boxes with him but unfortunately on the course of
inspections I scanned the two boxes and personally discovered that the
two boxes was fully loaded with
defaced $100 bill note and each of the boxes contained $5 million
Dollars which is total of $10 million United States Dollars involved
in the two boxes.
After due proper investigation to know the source or country the
consignment boxes was sent to the United States I
discovered that it was stolen money from west Africa {Nigeria} owned
by one of the corrupt government politicians and the fund was sent for
safe keeping in one of the Bank here in England before it was arrested
and seized
by my self.
This boxes has over stayed under my care since the arrest took place
last year December 2015 and no body came after for the claim and the
Diplomat who conveyed the boxes has escaped and abandoned the boxes to
avoid him been charged for money trafficking by the U.K law
enforcement agency. I have made several attempt to locate the Diplomat
or the
owner of the Fund but all my effort proved unsuccessful .
I am contacting you personally on a good arrangement in order to use
your name /address to move the trunk boxes to your custody for our
mutual sharing, I agree to offer you 25% of the total fund in the two
boxes upon your consent to receive the consignment boxes in your name.
I assure you that this deal is 100% risk free as long as I am
concerned and with my position as the Boss of inspection control unit
of the customs HERE IN THE Bristol Airport London United Kingdom I will protect
the transaction until you receive the two consignment boxes in good
faith without problem.
For your information I have made a solid arrangement with Cargo
courier department at the airport to move the boxes to your door step
upon your acceptance to receive the boxes.
Please if this message find you interesting to work with me receive
the fund kindly get
back to me immediately for further proceedings and send me the
following details of yours.
1.Your Private telephone number.
2.Your address where the two boxes will deliver to you.
3.Your Nearest Airport where the cargo courier company will arrive to
deliver the trunk boxes

security reasons in order to protect my interest even if you are not

towards moving the trunk boxes from our customs Unit to your
