"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Good day my friend

Greetings in the name of the LORD Almighty. I know this letter will definitely come to you as a huge surprise, but I implore you to take the time to go through it carefully before taking a decision. Soon i will depart this world and i hope to be in the bosom of the almighty.

I am Mrs. Angela Smith aging widow of 67 years old suffering from long time illness.I have taken the decision to write this mail due to my health problems, hoping you will be trustworthy. I am writing you this mail not based on any previous meeting with you nor any recommendation from any body.I found your email address from the internet after honest prayers to the LORD to bring me a sincere honest person and i decided to contact you. It is only you who knows if you an honest person but i only hope you will be honest and capable to handle my request.

I have some funds I inherited from my late husband, the sum of (16.5 Million Dollars) and I needed a very honest and God fearing who can withdraw this money then use the funds for Charity works. In memory of my deceased husband, John Smith, i have decided to donate our wealth to charity and needy individuals through you as the coordinator. Throughout my husband's years, he stressed the importance of charity and since we did not get a child i feel that this is what he would have wanted us to do with the money that he left behind for me. If you may be willing and interested to handle these trust funds in good faith reply back to me.This is no stolen money my late husband was renowned Geological Engineer. I will explain the details when i hear from you.
Thanks and God bless you,
Mrs.Angela Smith
