"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello,

Thanks for your anticipated prompt response.

I contacted you because I have a Syrian businessman; a member of Syrian
Businessmen Council in Damascus, his family is under threat from President
Bashar al-Assad due to his stand against him since he has been calling and
agitating for a true democratic government in Syria.

Due to his groups strong agitation, President Bashar al-Assad chain has
set the soldiers against his group, they have witnessed lots of killings
of civilians, women and children who took side with them. He spoke to me
in confidence that he has in his possession the sum of (Nine million two
hundred thousand dollars) $9,200,000. This is money he has saved for his
whole life as an industrialist and he have it stored in a secret vault
because putting money in a bank in this country could be a very big risk
especially in this time of war.

If he can relocate with his family to your country, this fund will
definitely be enough to help him and his family to settle down and have a
better life. Since he wants to save this money and his family in your
country and I gave him my word to assist him, so I would like you to help
in the process of relocating his family and this fund confidentially to
your country.

Can you help me in this plan? He agreed to give me and you 30% of this
fund if we successfully help him in this relocation. You only need to
receive this fund, keep it safe and also get a good residential apartment
for him prior to his arrival into your country.

I will conclude the diplomatic movement of him and his family from here,
leave that to me.

Let me hear from you.

Please respond urgently.

Thank you

Capt. S. Geisler.
