"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

purposes.I am constrained to contact you because of the maltreatment, I am

did not discover where I kept my Father's File which contains important
documents. So I decided to run to the refugee camp where I am presently
seeking asylum under the United Nations High Commission for the Refugee
here in Dakar, Republic of Senegal.My late father deposited the sum of (
$7.9 Million USD dollars ) in bank with my name as the next of kin.
However, I shall forward you with the necessary information of the deposit
on confirmation of your acceptance to assist me for the transfer and
investment of the fund in your country. As you will help me in the area of
investment, and I will like to complete my studies over there in your
country immediately after the transfer, as I was in my school, when the
