"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: From Carol Fowler

Calvary Greetings,

My name is Carol Fowler, married to late Engr. Fernandez Fowler who worked with Shell Development Company in Kuwait for 26 years before he died in the year 2010 after a brief illness that lasted for only five days. I relocated to Spain and I am presently deaf due to a car accident, I was unable to focus and concentrate while driving in the year 2012.

After he passed away, I was filled with grief, sadness and loneliness before I discovered my ill health (Leukemia- Cancer of the blood), the doctor revealed that I may not live long as expected as I discovered when it was too late. I found Christ at this point, this was when I made up my mind to use the rest of my life for Charitable works with the funds in which my husband deposited in a bank here.

Myself and my Husband lived happily until we lost our only son in a fatal accident which led us to sell most and all of our properties which amounted to the sum of $10.9M, since the doctors already told me I don't have much time left I decided to search for trust worthy people with love for kids, fear of God and highly religious and this is how I found a brief profile about you and then here is my heart being poured out to you.

I don't want you to be under pressure but be rest assured that the Lord works in ways in which we may not understand as I have found my cause, I want you to take a step of Faith and consider helping me carry out the work of God. Kindly reply me and tell me some idea's in which you think you can use this money for Charitable works and making impacts on other lives.

Please write back with brief details about yourself and how you can use the money ($10.9M - Ten Million and Nine Hundred Thousand US Dollars) that will be paid to you. From the total sum, you get to earn 30% for yourself personally and the remaining 70% is what should use to help your community, the needy and other charitable works. Let me know in brief details what you can do and I will direct you on how to get the funds paid to you without any delay.

God Bless,

Mrs. Carol Fowler.
