"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello,

My name is Michael Kojo from Liberia, but presently I live in Gambia with my little sister Haddy after the death of our parents. However, I am writing to seek your cooperation to retrieve package on our behalf which contains sealed cash in a trunk box deposited in a security vault. An emissary of the vault company will be delegated to deliver same to your country or any agreed location of your choice.

Mr.Hassan Hamid disappointed us out of his greediness. We initially agreed on 20% while 5% should be set aside to cover any expenses incurred before the delivery of the total sum (US$5.5 Million); 57kilos of (gold bars & gold dust) plus 1500carat of diamond stones. He later changed and was demanding 60% of the total. But if you will be willing to assist us, we will gladly compensate you with 25%.

Nevertheless, we would like you to help us to process our traveling documents after a successful delivery to your designated address, so we can relocate to your country to continue our education. You will advise us on whatever profitable ventures which we shall invest on, as we would rely on you to set up and develop a good business plan that will yield return on investment, which you will manage and be entitled to a % for at least 5 years, before we complete our education.

Expecting your urgent response.

Thank you and God bless !
Kojo Michael & Haddy
