"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: OIL

Hello,

This Enger James Reads. I choose to reach you through e-mail, as it is the fastest medium of communication irrespective of the fact that it has been greatly abused. I deem it necessary to introduce you to a lucrative business opportunity. I'm talking of crude oil trading! This is considered as the most legitimate and modest money making machinery anyone can setup.

Feasibility:

According to the 2008 BP Statistical Energy Survey, Equatorial Guinea had proved oil reserves of 1.755 billion barrels at the end of 2007 or 0.14 % of the world's reserves. The survey states that Equatorial Guinea produced an average of 363.3 thousand barrels of crude oil per day in 2007, 0.46% of the world total and a change of 1.5 % compared to 2006.

Equatorial Guinea is situated on the oil rich Gulf of Guinea and comprises the Rio Muni coastal enclave, the island of Bioko and the islands of Annobon, Corisco, Elobey Grande and Elobey Chico. The upstream oil industry is key to the economy of Equatorial Guinea and is growing rapidly with expanding foreign interest and investment. Equatorial Guinea’s economy has grown since it started exporting oil in 1995, with oil accounting for 60% of GDP and 90% of total exports. Equatorial Guinea’s natural gas production continues to increase.

Information/Potentials
A crude Oil "Lifting License" gives the owner the mandate of the National Oil Company (Suppliers of the crude oil), to locate crude oil buyers and arrange a buy/sale crude oil transaction between the oil company and the crude oil buyers. The "lifting license" syndrome came into place because the national oil company does not deal directly with the buyers of the crude oil rather; they prefer to issue Oil "Lifting License allocations" to individuals/companies to assist them to market the crude oil which they produce.

I will personally assist you to locate the buyers of the crude oil and facilitate the sales transactions for you. My proposition is that you will set up a company/group with formidable team members that can handle the sort of business. This is to help you declare as the license owner.

You need a "seller agent" to assist you to sale the crude since you are alien to this business and do not know the buyers for the crude oil and also because you are not locally resident here.

Feel free to ask for clarifications.
