"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Your Payment

Attention,

My names are Mr. Cyprain Figo. I am assistant supervisor with Duetche Bank London working directly under Mr. Stuart Wilson Lewis, the Chief Risk Officer in charge of all unclaimed funds deposited in our escrow account.

All the same,I wish to inform you that the fund in your name valued at Two Million Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars only US$2.5 Million. Currently deposited into our escrow account since November 2014, is about to be returned to where it originated as unclaimed funds and when this happens, the Authorities must surely confiscate it as Money Laundering Funds having been in London for a while without claims.

In view of the above, I have discussed your issue with my superior and he has advised me to contact you as soon as I can to see how we can work it out on your behalf with hope that when you receive the funds in your bank account, you will show us 'appreciation'.
The moment I receive your response, I will revert to you with the due transfer process, and further details. Private email. cfigo@inbox.ru

Regards.
Cyprain Figo.
