The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.

Subject: The Most Respected One

I am from Slovakia. I am married to Mr David Williams, who worked with the Slovak embassy in Ivory Coast for 15 years before his death in 2014. We got married for eleven years without a child. He died after a brief illness that lasted for only four days.
Since his death I decided not to remarry or get a child outside my matrimonial home which the is against. When my husband was alive deposited amount ($ 2.5 million) in the bank here in Abidjan interim items

Currently, the fund is still in the bank. Recently, my doctor told me that I have serious sickness which is cancer problem. What worries me most is my stroke sickness. Knowing my condition I decided to donate this fund to Christian, Muslim or those who use the money the way I would recommend here. I want the church that will use this fund for orphanages, widows, to promote the word of God and endeavor that the house of God is maintained.

I took this decision because I do not have any child that will inherit this money and my husband relatives are conspired against me and I do not want my husband's efforts to be used just like that. I do not want a situation where this money will be used in this wicked way. That is why I am on that decision. I do not fear death, and so I know where I'm going. I know I'll be in the heart of man.
I do not need telephone communication in this regard because of my health, and therefore the presence of my husband's relatives around me always and I do not want to know about this development. In God all things are possible. Once you get a response, I will contact the bank here in Abidjan. I want you and the Christian and Muslim always prays for me because the lord is my shepherd. My happiness is that I lived a life of a worthy Christian. Always prays for a lifetime.

Reply me for more information is, in its reply will give me room sourcing another person for the same purpose. Allow me to assure you that they will behave accordingly, as indicated. I hope to receive an answer.

Yours in Sister,
Sister Rebecca Williams,
