"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Congratulations, I'm writing to verify and confirm whether if you have
received your ATM CARD sent to you through "FedEx Express" or not. For
about Five (5) days now we have sent an ATM CARD for delivery to your
ADDRESS through "FedEx Express" but so far we did not heard from you
over this issue therefore I'm hereby contacting you in order to verify
and confirm if you have finally received your ATM CARD through the
"FedEx Express" or not.

Furthermore, the contents and value of your ATM CARD is Five Million,
Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars (US$5,500,000.00). The
African Union (AU), United Nations (UN), and in conjunction with the
European Union (EU), has started releasing the "Scam Victims
Compensation Fund" which you are among the Victims and bonafide
Beneficiaries. Therefore, this payment/fund was released and awarded to
you by this organization as a Compensation.

However, your ATM CARD NUMBER is (4975 0944 0578 9086) and your secret
PIN NUMBER/CODE is (0248). Please note this information is very
confidential and important for the security purposes and to avoid any
unauthorized person have access to your ACCOUNT. This is your personal
information, it is very important and confidential therefore do not
disclose it to another person for the safety and security purposes.

Finally, in case if your ATM CARD has not been delivered to you yet,
then you are advise to contact the "FedEx Express Director" (DR. JERRY
COOK), to enable his office proceed on your ATM CARD delivery to you
immediately because we have already registered for your ATM CARD
delivery to you since five (5) days now. Do Contact the "FedEx Express
Director" (DR. JERRY COOK), with the following information below,

information requested so that your ATM CARD will be deliver to you
immediately.

Please do not hesitate to notify us immediately upon receiving your ATM
