"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: INSURANCE PAYOUT

My name is Mr. Ibrahim Abdullah Al-Mahmoud and I work with Q Life & Medical Insurance Company in Doha, Qatar.

I am writing you as regards the Universal Life Insurance policy bought by late Carol Susan Tripp of 963 Brockwell Dr Westerville OH 43081, USA. This policy is currently worth about $1,000,000.00 USD and as per her request it is due for payment to you.

This Life Insurance policy was purchased on the 15th of March, 2006 by the Deceased and she specifically stated that the death Benefit should only be paid to you as her sole beneficiary 10 years after her death.

To claim this Life Insurance policy is very easy and once I get a response from you.

Thank you for your time

Mr. Ibrahim Abdullah Al-Mahmoud
