"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

from Republic of Togo, i contact you for a private business deal, am the personal lawyer to late Mr GERALD from your country,  He died in auto motor  accident with his wife and only daughter in 2009,  He deposited sum of $10.5Million US Dollars in a bank here in my country,  his bank permit me to provide any of his family member so that the funds will be transfer to his family members
He decleared to the bank his only daughter as Next of Kin but she is no more alive to claim this fund, therefore i contact you so that we will have a private deal, i want to present you to the bank as the family member of my late client  Mr GERALD so that the bank will approve the transfer of this funds to you,   we shall have the share equal 50% -50%
