"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello friend

My name is Miss Leyna Schwarz, 19 years single girl, schooling in the
United States of America.

First of all, I'm very sorry for contacting you while we have not meet
ever before but I urge you to have mercy on me because I'm in a
desperate condition right now and I need your help urgently. I'm
contacting you because I strongly believe that you will not betray me
because you seems to be trusted. I'm the only child / daughter of late
Mr. / Ms. Wilfred Schwarz, who was owing a gold mining company in
Ghana. I and my parents was living in Accra the capital city of the
federal republic of Ghana just because my mother was a Ghanaian and my
dad has a company in Ghana. However, My mother died when I was little
and then my father sent me to the United States for schooling and I
has been there until last month my father took ill and was admitted at
the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital which is stated in the city of Accra,
Ghana. When father's health condition became so bad he requested that
I should come down to Ghana immediately so that he will see me before
anything will happen, I came down and after three days he died. The
result confirmed that my father died of taking a poisoned drink.

My late mother was Ghanaian and my late father from Australia. Before
my father died, he told me that he deposited the sum of (US$16.5
million dollars) in one of the banks in Accra Ghana, he told me that
he wanted to use the money to invest in real estate business in
another country and he was searching for a perfect investment partner
before he was killed. He advise me never to fight to regain his
company or our family house which is in Ghana otherwise the same
people that killed him will also kill me because they killed him
because of those properties. He further advised that I should look for
somebody from another country that can help me to invest the money in
a lucrative business while I continue with my studies in the states or
any other country I may deem more better for my stay. He gave me the
deposit slip of the deposited money in the bank and also the agreement
document which had with the bank officials on the day he made the
deposit in their bank.

A few weeks after my father's death, his company and our family house
including our cars was taken away from me by my late father's friends
and colleague who claimed that dad was owing them, I remembered what
my late father advised me so I decided not to say or do anything so
I'm in a guest house right now. I'm contacting you now to please help
me to claim the deposit money to your account and as well help me to
come over to your country and you will take care of the investment
projects while I'll continue with my education in your country. If you
can render this help to me I'll be glad to give you the 30% of the
total sum and secondly you will be in charge of the business until I
finish my education. I'll like you to contact me on my private email
address (leynaschwz@gmail.com) so that we will discuss about the way
forward as I don't wish to stay here longer than this because I'm
living in fear.

Greetings,

Miss. Leyna Schwarz.
