"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: I need your help please

Hello ,

I am Ms.Aisha Khadija Al-Khouli from Syria, wife and widow to the late
Brigadier General (Dr) Issa Al-Khouli,my husband was assassinated by
unknown gun men as he stepped outside our home on his way to work on Monday
the 11th of February 2012.

I have never been the same since then and I am only trying to find a way to
escape from this hell hole that I find my self after the death of my
husband as this country is into full blown war now and i have to escape
with my children before it is too late.

Before my husband’s death, he informed me that he had deposited some money
to the tune of USD$12.5 Million Dollars with funds managers and this money
was part of the money he was giving to keep by his relative the president
of Syria Dr.Bashar Al-Assad to be used for the war effort and he kept this
money overseas because he did not know what the outcome of the war would be
hence he had told me that if anything where to happen to him we where to
use this money to flee the country and start a new life overseas.

You can check this links below for confirmation:

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/02/12/world/middleeast/syrian-general-killed-by-gunmen-in-damascus.html?_r=3

With the death of my husband , i have nothing more to live for in Syria and
I want to escape from the country with the rest of my family and it is only
this money that we can use to bribe our way out as with the sanctions from
the United Nations on our country and the regime top officials and
families, we would be unable to move freely hence we need help from someone
that does not have any links or connection with the family so that you can
claim the funds on my behalf without suspicions.

I need you as a partner to assist in claiming the funds from the finance
outfit where it is currently deposited and provide good investment plans
for it in your country.

As soon as you have claimed the funds, you shall send us some money so that
we can make arrangements for our escape out of Syria and once we are out,
it would be important that we meet in person so that we can thank you for
your help and also discuss future plans.

You will be compensated with 30 % of the total funds for your help if you
accept to assist us so that we do not suffer in future.

If you feel we can do this together, please contact me immediately for more
details.

Thank You,

Ms.Aisha Khadija Al-Khouli
