"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: TOM CRIST FOUNDATION GIVE AWAY TO YOU

Congratulations!

Happy New Year 2017!!!. I'm Tom Crist, the retired CEO that won $40 million in the Calgary Lotto Max, this is to inform you that Google in alliance with Facebook, Microsoft and their email address server partners have submitted your email-address in a random ballot system as one of the winners to receive the winning amount of GBP 2,000,000.00 (Two Million Great Britain Pounds). Our primary objective is to promote the name of this foundation by disbursing my winnings to Good spirited individuals, Churches, Orphanages, Charities and to help improve the standard of living among the less privileged.

However, I have decided to donate my entire winnings in honor of my late wife, Jan, she died of cancer several years ago. I have already donated $1.2 million to the Tom Baker Cancer Center and I intend to continue giving. My approach is simple - build a better world by making philanthropy easy. see info below;
