"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: I need your help urgently (Read and Reply).

Greetings,

I know this letter will come as a surprise, but I have great
confidence, which is why I contact you; I chose to contact you by
Internet, as it is still the fastest means of communication, although
the Internet medium has abused a lot. Please, I want you to give me a
little opportunity and your trust, to explain to you, I would like to
have love, to meet with you, face to face, before giving up hope. But
my illness will not allow it, but even if I die in the process of my
terminal health condition, it will still be a happy one, knowing that
you have agreed to do it for me.

My name is Mrs. Carol Colbert; I am 63 years old, and I have decided
to donate what I have for you. I was diagnosed with cancer about few
years ago, immediately after my husband's death, which left me
everything that worked in his life. My late husband Guis Colbert is an
Architectural Engineer who owns few estate and cargo company in the
United Kingdom all was in our name before as we have no kids of our
own but takes care of most especially the inner city kids who are less
cared for.

I was deeply touched to donate for what I have inherited from my late
husband so that, for the good work of humanity, and to save souls who
are needed. Instead of allowing those that did not worth earning it or
to use the hard earned funds of my husband in unholy ways. I am
suffering from a long term Cervical/lungs cancer, which also affected
my hearing ability and my brain, any indication of my conditions is
actually deteriorating, and it is quite obvious that according to my
doctors, and they have advised me It does not live long, this is
because, cancer is at a very bad stage.

My late husband left me a mental trunk box containing $5.8 million
inheritance funds, which he placed in a fixed deposit vault with a
Security Company. I have decided, to donate all the cash for who will
adhere the legal instruction of our family lawyer for 23 years. At the
moment, I cannot make any phone calls, based on the doctor's advice. I
have adjusted and arranged everything, with the help of our Lawyer,
Shaun Denton Jr. He will notify the Security Company manager about my
intention introducing you as my beneficiary in your name to claim the
funds. On your part will work with the lawyer in order to receive the
money to run a charity organization empowering them academically and
all rounds.

I can accept this decision because I do not have any children who
inherit the money after I die. I want to receive your urgent response
to me, so I will send you, copy of certificate of deposit, issued my
husband by the bank. So that you can do this good work in our
remembrance since I have few days to live; don’t weep or pity me, I
have done my part in this journey of life and the rest should be
carved out humanly

To be very honest with you, this money I have revealed to you, it is
totally genuine and 100% risk free. I totally assure you, there will
be no problem, for your help, I want you to take 15% of the total
money, for your personal use, while 85% of the money goes to charity.
I appreciate your utmost confidentiality and the confidence in this
area to fulfill the desire of my heart, since I do not want to have
anything that jeopardizes my last wish. Please respond to me quickly
for more details.

I await your urgent response and respond as you contact my family
