"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: pls respond to me urgently.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Good day to you and your family. I wish you are all well.

Please, do not be embarrassed because I am contacting you for this
assistance. I am Kenny Kones. I am the only survivor of the sons of
my father and mother. I reside in Abidjan Ivory Coast, Cote D'Ivoire.
I am a victim of the civil war during the former President Laurent
Gbagbo's regime.

My Father, was the finance Minister of Cote D'Ivoire during the regime
of the former President of Cote D'Ivoire, before my parents were
killed. I was the only survivor.

The former President of Cote D'Ivoire, Mr Laurent Gbagbo ordered that
our village be attacked by the Soldiers that came and when they
entered our village, they shot everybody seen and in the process,
assassinated my father, my mother, all my brothers and sisters
including house helps, visitors, security dogs and pets. At that time,
I was away to France for studies. Now, Laurent Gbagbo and his wife are
facing treasonable Felony charges at the United Nations International
court of Justice in Hague.

Now, I am made helpless, without a Father, Mother, Brothers or
Sisters. I have now of age and now, would want you to adopt me by
giving me a sense of belonging.

All our family finances and valuable treasures were all frozen and
confiscated by the Government of Gbagbo but except the sum of bulk
chunk deposited in the bank in Brussels, Belgium, which I will want
you to stand as next of kin to the funds so that it can be released to
you to be invested for my future.

I want to forge ahead in life irrespective of no father, no mother nor
brothers and sisters. If you can help me take delivery of this cash
funds and invest it wisely, please feel free to help me because I am
suffering from loneliness and deprivation.

I want to hear from you as quickly as possible. Please email me back
through my email address, thus : (teddy.guei@gmail.com) or as
indicated above.

Thank you for your urgent response.

Kenny Kones.
