"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: SEEKING A BUSINESS PARTNER

SUBJECT: WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PARTNER:

Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Dr. Samuel Udemba, I am a senior staff with the Nigerian

National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), I am the Chairman of contract award

committee.

I have a business deal I would like to discuss with you if you will be

interested, you will profit 40% of $120,000,000.00 which is about $46,000,000.00

if you agree to the terms of this deal.

Many years ago a Japanese company TOYO ENGINEERING CORPORATION handled a

pipeline contract project for my company (NNPC) , I and my colleagues teamed up

with the Japanese company representative sent to supervise the project and over

invoiced the contract amount with $120,000,000.00 to be shared among us after

the contract is completed and payment is released by my company to the Japanese

company who won the contract bid.

After the completion of the contract by the Japanese company TOYO ENGINEERING

CORPORATION the company was paid their original contract sum , but the remaining

balance which we over invoiced was kept under the name of the Japanese company

representative, we could not move the funds because the Japanese company

representative who collaborated with us has died shortly after the deal, this

made it difficult for us to move out the funds, but now we have found a lawyer

who will help us prepare legal documents to enable the bank where we kept the

funds transfer the funds to anyone we pick outside our country.

This contract was executed years ago but we have been looking for a suitable and

capable person outside our country to act as the beneficiary of the funds ,so

that the bank keeping the $120,000,000.00 will release the funds to the person

and then we will share mutually according to our stipulated terms written above.

If you can handle it let us know and we will let you know the next step, secrecy

must be maintained to avoid problems as you know that the source of the funds is

over invoice from our company NNPC.

The transfer is risk free on both sides, If you find this proposal acceptable,

we shall require the following informations from you:

(1)
YOUR PRIVATE MOBILE NO.............................
YOUR PRIVATE FAX NO...................................
HOME ADDRESS..............................................
OFFICE ADDRESS..............................................
A COPY OF YOUR NATIONAL PASSPORT FOR IDENTIFICATION.

I guarantee that this transaction will be completed within 10 working days as

soon as you accept this proposal, and in support of my proposal I have included

to this email documents as evidence to prove that my offer is genuine, and with

good intention for mutual benefit between the two parties if my proposal to you

is accepted.

Best regards
